Hip Hop & Barbells is a movement built for creatives in the culture from MCs to DJs, breakdancers to beatmakers.

We’re having real conversations about breath control, injury prevention, recovery, mindset, training, nutrition, and how to stay sharp in a scene that never slows down.

This project lives at the intersection of hip hop, wellness, and performance, helping people like you build a stronger body, healthier habits, and a longer-lasting career.

THE CREATOR

I’m Kezi — DJ, music producer, personal trainer, fascial stretch therapist, and registered holistic nutritionist.

I’ve been immersed in both the music and fitness industries for nearly two decades. Since 2002, I’ve DJ’d across Toronto, Hamilton, Kitchener, and even London, England, living the fast-paced lifestyle that comes with nightlife and performance.

In 2015, I transitioned into fitness, coaching everyone from everyday clients to competitive athletes in powerlifting and Olympic Weightlifting, with successful athletes at both OPA and OWA meets.

As a Registered Holistic Nutritionist with a focus on hormone health, and a Fascial Stretch Therapist, I bring a full-spectrum view of wellness to this culture.

I started Hip Hop & Barbells to give back to the community that shaped me. Helping artists, dancers, and DJs move better, live healthier and perform at their best.
